M. Eva Sharpless
M. Eva, widow of Minshall L.
Sharpless, of Concordville died
suddenly yesterday in her 79th
year.
Mrs. Sharpless was living with
her daughter, Mrs. Milton S. Hey-
burn, at the time of her death. The
deceased was born in Bel Air, Md.,
on Dec. 12, 1871 the daughter of
Joseph and Emmeline Pierce Dil-
worth. She married the late Min-
shall Sharpless on Nov. 11, 1891
and moved to his farm at Brandy-
wine Summit.
She was a member of the Dil-
worthtown Presbyterian church
where she was organist and treas-
urer of the church for many years.
Her late father gave the ground
on which the Dilworthtown church
was built. The deceased was a
former member of the Concord
Needlework Guild and the Con-
cord Grange.
Mrs. Sharpless is survived by
her daughter, Beatrice, wife of
Milton S. Heyburn, with whom
she lived, and a son, Minshall P.
Sharpless.
There are four grandchildren
and three great grandchildren sur-
viving.
