The smooth-ish approach con-
tinues! The day passed quietly
as I cleaned out all my old
letters and found the usual
delight in reading them.
After the session at the hospital
(no news there!), Mother and I met
Florence and her friend, Winnie
--- here from Atlanta for the first
time --- and took them to the
Town Club out in Great Neck. I
love that place ! We idled away
most of the evening in the de luxd
atmosphere and then drove around
on the Island past La Guardia
and the old World’s Fair grounds.
