Apr 1st<br />This morning the Executive committee<br />of the K?] met at Lucy Robinson's<br />at 9:30 to discuss plans for the coming<br />K[?] & at 10:30 the regular monthly<br />meeting of the managers was held. In<br />the afternoon I had to go down to see<br />Mrs. Heyman about organizing a dancem<br />but found her out, so went up to see<br />Cornelia for a while, as she is in bed<br />with grippe & is quite sick. Hustled <br />home from there & went to Mrs.<br />Townsend's card partyi. It was almost<br />impossible to keep my mind on the cards<br />for K plans kept running through<br />my head, all afternoon. The prizes were<br />lovely, but I was not luckyi enough to<br />get one. Wrote in the evening. <br />Sat. Apr 2nd<br />Hustled around and accomplished a<br />lot before nine o'clock, as Lucy Robinson <br />was due about three to discuss some <br />plans.
