Program I A Mighty Fortress Is Our God...Luther Sing Unto God ... Felter Wondrous Love ... Southern Folk-Hymn Psalm 150 ... Morton

II Requiem ... Durufle I. Introit Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua Luceat eis! Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion; et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem. Exxaudi orationem meam, ad te omnis caro veniet. Requiem aeternam.

Rest eternal grant unto the, O Lord and let light everlasting shine upon them. To thee is praise given, O God, in Sion, and unto Thee shall offerings be made in Jerusalem. Hear my prayer: unto Thee Shall all flesh come. Rest eternal.

II. Kyrie Kyrie eleison! Christe eleison! Kyrie eleison!

Lord have mercy on us! Christ have mercy on us! Lord have mercy on us!

III. Domine Jesu Christe Domine Jesu Christe, Rex Gloriae, libera animas omnium fidelium defunctorum de poenis inferni, et de profundo lacu: libera eas de ore leonis, ne cadant in obscurum.

Lord Jesus Christ, King of Glory, free the souls of all the faithful departed from the pains of Hell, and from the bottomless pit: free them from the mouth of the lion, lest Hell swallow them up, lest they fall into darkness.

Sed signifier, sanctus Michael, repraesentet eas in lucem sanctam: quam olim Abrahae promisisti et semini ejus.

But let holy Michael, the standard-bearer, bring them into the holy light: as of old Thou didst promise to Abraham, and to his seed.

Hostias et preces tibi, Domine, laudis offerimus: tu suscipe pro animabus illis, quarum hodie memoiam facimus: fac eas Domine, de morte transire ad vitam. Quam olim Abrahae proministi et semini ejus.

This sacrifice of prayer andprise do we offer to Thee, O Lord: do Thou accept it for the souls of these whom today we recall to memory: grant, O Lord, that they pass over from death to life. As of old Thou didst promise to Abraham, and to his seed.

IV. Sanctus Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus, Dominus Deus Sabaoth, pleni sunt coeli et terra Gloria tua. Osanna in excelsis!

Holy, holy, holy Lord God of Hosts, heaven and earth are full of Thy glory. Hosanna in the highest!

Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini! Osanna in excelsis!

Blesse is he who cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

V. Pie Jesu Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem sempiternam.

Holy Lord Jesus, grant them eternal rest.
