Friday 15th Wind NE. Snowed hard all day, hands did nothing Sent to Mill in wagon.

Saturday 16 Wind SW. Clear. Got Wood. Hauled & scattered Manure T S Taliaferro & his Wife & Mr Curtis & family dined here.

Sunday 17 Wind SE. Cloudy and Rained the rest of the day from 10 O.ck We staid at home.

Monday 1[9][written over]8 Wind NE. Snowed all day, hands did nothing

Tuesday 19 Wind N. Snowed till 1. O,clk then cleared off Snow about a foot deep. Filled a Pen with it this evening and covered it with straw.

Wednesday 20 Wind NW Clear & cold. Got Wood. Sent Ox Cart & some hands to Mt Pleasant to get snow & put it in Ice house. Sister Ann started for Memphis to,day to see Bet (Mrs Goggin)

Friday 22 Wind NW Clear & cold. Mauled Rails. Made fence Dr Page here to see Carter. He is not better

Saturday 23 Wind W Clear. Ploughing One Plough. Hauling Rails Maria & the children spent the day at Wilson’s Creek.
