Robert Gilchrist Robb (1875-1951) was a student at the College of William and Mary, 1891-1893, and professor of Chemistry, 1918-1946, also at William and Mary. He was awarded the Alumni Medallion in 1945. His father was Philip L. Robb of Gay Mont, Virginia. He was the father of Frances Robb of Williamsburg, Virginia. His portrait hangs in the Special Collections Research Center in the Earl Gregg Swem Library.
