Mae Graham was an Assistant Professor from 1936-1942 and an Associate Professor from 1942-1946 in the Library Science program at William & Mary. She was a member of the American Library Association committee for editing a new edition of "1000 Books for the Senior High School Library" from around 1937-1939. The Library Science program was discontinued in 1947.

Ms. Graham is mentioned in news articles in The Flat Hat, the student newspaper, as is the Library Science program. A couple of the articles mentioning her can be found in the following issues: May 13, 1942, page 2; January 16, 1946, page 3; May 15, 1946, page 1. The discontinuation of the library science program is mentioned in the November 25, 1947 issue, page 3.

A Note About The Contents Of This Wiki
The information available in this wiki is the best available from known documents and sources at the time it was written. Unfortunately, many of the early original records of William & Mary were destroyed by fires, military occupation, and the normal effects of time. Information in this wiki is not complete as new information continues to be uncovered in Swem Library's Special Collections Research Center and elsewhere. Researchers are strongly encouraged to use the Special Collections search tools for their research as the information contained in this wiki is by no means comprehensive.
