Charles Stedman attended the College of William and Mary around 1771, according to the Provisional List of Alumni. The only other known reference to Stedman in the Special Collections Research Center is a copy of the entry for him from the Dictionary of National Biography in the University Archives Faculty-Alumni File Collection.
