Dudley Warner Woodbridge
Dudley Warner Woodbridge was professor and dean of the law school at William & Mary from 1927 to 1966. His appointments included: Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence, 1927-1928; Associate Professor of Jurisprudence, 1928-1932; Professor of Jurisprudence, 1932-1944; Chancellor Professor of Jurisprudence, 1944-1953; Chancellor Professor of Law, 1953-1966; Chancellor Professor of Law, Emeritus, 1966-1969; Acting Dean of the Department of Jurisprudence, 1942-1946; 1948-1949; Dean of the Department of Jurisprudence, 1949-1953; Dean of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, 1953-1962.
