The 2013 Fraternity Complex is a 187 bed complex consisting of ten 17 bed fraternity houses and a community building. Built in 2012-2013 and opened for residents in Fall 2013, this complex is located across the street from William and Mary Hall bracketing the Green and Gold Village. The new Frat complex is home to Sigma Pi, Delta Chi, Kappa Sigma, Kappa Alpha, Alpha Tau Omega, Sigma Chi, Delta Phi, Beta Theta Pi and Kappa Delta Rho.

Fraternity Complex Constructed: 1965-1968

The 1960s Fraternity Complex was made up of 12 units dedicated to the various fraternities at the College of William and Mary. They were located across the street from William and Mary Hall. In 1964, Carson Barnes, Dean of Men at William and Mary, asked the Board of Visitors for a new complex for fraternities on campus similar to that of the Sorority Court off Richmond Road.

Construction

Construction on the 1960s Fraternity Complex took place between 1965 and 1968. The first 4 fraternities to occupy the complex, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Kappa Alpha, and Keplar (a colony of the Sigma Chi Fraternity), began to take residence in the fall of 1967. Several other fraternities began to slowly occupy the units throughout the 1967-1968 academic year, with the last ones taking residence in the fall of 1968.
